I find the world  to be interesting, and I like to share my thoughts on it. 

My goal as a writer is simple: take the things that fascinate me, dig into them from as many angles as I can, and share what is interesting, important and funny about whatever I find.  

I'm a writer, a non-profit executive, a philosopher, a  musician, and a family man (and my family includes a clowder of eccentric cats).  I value kindness, toughness and intelligence. I also have a great appreciation for irony, perhaps because I am a cynical realist who is nevertheless eternally optimistic,  an introvert who won't stop talking, and a person who takes it all too seriously - but who sees the joke in everything.
